Is the SECOND EDITION of this classically designed boot and this year features the HORWEEN Chromexcel (Horse Front) 5 oz Leather in a Dark Brown Grain side and the same "Flesh Side Out" Hand Color Treatment of Traditionally applied Oil Ink Dye using natural Black Walnut blends, Vitamin E oils and Beeswax to create a dark aged patina that was inspired by the original 2019 Limited Edition release boot with the same labor intensive hammered flat metal railroad nail shank Arch support.
The 12 Iron Outsoles and Heels are shaped to create a 1940s Half-sole cutting with the signature Whisky Barrel Bottom Hand Dyed Color Treatment Black and Brown rough sanded oiled edges.
The most noticeable difference is in Leather choice for the 2020 build with the use of 5oz Horween Chromexcel (Horse-front) for this Edition.
A slight difference in overall weight from the 2019 choice of the Twice Tanned CXL to Veg Horween (Latigo) Leather which has a much slower patina breakin time.
Every aspect of this boot build is uniquely technical and follows traditional European shoemakers methods, the clients personal outlined foot tracing and width measurements are required for boot.
